Anghel Hotel – Hotel Policies (Greece)

  • Check‑out time: By 11:00
  • Early check‑in and late check‑out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • A valid government‑issued photo ID or passport is required at check‑in, as mandated by Greek law.

2. Reservations and Payment

  • All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid payment method.
  • Full or partial prepayment may be required depending on the selected rate.
  • All prices are shown in EUR (€) and include or exclude taxes as clearly stated at the time of booking.
  • Applicable taxes may include VAT and the Climate Resilience Fee (formerly accommodation tax), payable as required by Greek legislation.
  • The hotel reserves the right to pre‑authorize credit or debit cards prior to arrival.

3. Cancellation and No‑Show Policy

  • Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate plan and booking channel.
  • Failure to arrive without prior cancellation (“no‑show”) may result in a charge of one night’s stay or the full reservation amount, in accordance with the agreed booking terms.
  • Any changes to reservations must comply with the applicable cancellation policy.

4. Occupancy

  • Maximum room occupancy must be respected according to the licensed capacity of each room type.
  • Children are considered occupants and must be included in the reservation.
  • Extra beds or baby cots are available upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.

5. Guest Conduct

  • Guests must behave respectfully toward other guests, staff, and hotel property.
  • Disturbing the peace, excessive noise, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
  • Anghel Hotel reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund in cases of serious misconduct or violation of Greek law.

6. Smoking Policy

  • In accordance with Greek anti‑smoking legislation, Anghel Hotel is a non‑smoking property.
  • Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is prohibited in all indoor areas and guest rooms.
  • Violations may result in cleaning fees and applicable fines as provided by law.

7. Pets Policy

  • Pets are not permitted, unless explicitly stated in a specific room offer.
  • Certified service animals are allowed in compliance with Greek and EU accessibility laws.

8. Damage and Liability

  • Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay.
  • Repair or replacement costs may be charged to the guest’s payment method.
  • Anghel Hotel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings, except where liability is imposed by Greek law.
  • Guests are encouraged to use in‑room safes where available.

9. Housekeeping

  • Daily housekeeping service is provided unless otherwise requested.
  • Linen and towel changes follow hotel sustainability practices or are available upon request.
  • Guests may decline housekeeping by informing reception.

10. Safety and Security

  • For safety reasons, cooking appliances, open flames, candles, and hazardous materials are not permitted in guest rooms.
  • Emergency exits and safety instructions posted throughout the property must be followed at all times.

11. Parking (If Applicable)

  • Parking is subject to availability and may require reservation.
  • Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
  • The hotel bears no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles or personal items left inside, except where required by law.

12. Group Bookings

  • Group bookings (typically 5 rooms or more) may be subject to special terms and conditions.
  • A written agreement, advance payment, and stricter cancellation policies may apply.
  • Rooming lists must be provided within the deadline specified by the hotel.
  • Anghel Hotel reserves the right to modify allocation if contractual obligations are not met.

  • Personal data collected may include name, contact details, identification information, and payment details, solely for reservation management, legal compliance, and guest services.

  • Guests have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request deletion of their personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Requests related to personal data may be submitted to hotel management or reception.

14. Force Majeure

  • Anghel Hotel is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or utility interruptions.

15. Amendments

  • Anghel Hotel reserves the right to amend these policies at any time in accordance with applicable laws.
  • The version in effect at the time of the guest’s stay shall apply.
