Anghel Hotel – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Anghel Hotel (hereinafter referred to as “the Hotel”) and the guest (hereinafter referred to as “the Guest”). They are drafted in accordance with Greek law and applicable European Union regulations. By making a reservation, staying at, or using the services of Anghel Hotel, the Guest fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.


1. Definitions

  • Hotel: Anghel Hotel and its management.
  • Guest: Any person who makes a reservation, stays at, or uses the services of the Hotel.
  • Reservation: A booking made directly with the Hotel or through third-party platforms.
  • Services: Accommodation and any additional services offered by the Hotel.

2. Scope of Application

  • These Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations, stays, and services provided by Anghel Hotel.
  • Any deviation from these terms must be expressly agreed upon in writing by the Hotel.

3. Reservations

  • Reservations may be made directly or via authorized booking platforms.
  • A reservation is considered confirmed only after the Hotel issues a written or electronic confirmation.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to refuse or cancel reservations in cases of incorrect information, suspected fraud, or force majeure.

4. Prices and Taxes

  • All prices are stated in Euro (€).
  • Prices include or exclude VAT as specified at the time of booking.
  • In accordance with Greek law, a Climate Resilience Fee (government levy) may apply and is payable by the Guest.
  • Prices may change without prior notice, except for confirmed reservations.

5. Payment Terms

  • Accepted payment methods include cash (within legal limits), credit cards, and debit cards.
  • The Hotel may require advance payment, deposit, or full prepayment depending on the rate plan.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit or debit cards before arrival.

6. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 14:00
  • Check-out: By 11:00
  • Valid identification or passport is required at check-in in compliance with Greek regulations.
  • Late check-out or early check-in is subject to availability and additional charges.

7. Cancellation and No-Show

  • Cancellation conditions depend on the selected rate and booking channel.
  • Failure to arrive without cancellation within the permitted timeframe constitutes a no-show.
  • No-show or late cancellation fees may include one night’s stay or the full reservation amount.

8. Use of Rooms and Facilities

  • Rooms may only be used by registered guests.
  • Subletting or transfer of rooms to third parties is prohibited.
  • Guests must comply with hotel rules, safety regulations, and applicable laws.

9. Guest Obligations and Conduct

  • Guests shall respect hotel property, staff, and other guests.
  • Any illegal, dangerous, or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to terminate accommodation without compensation in the event of serious misconduct.

10. Damage, Loss, and Liability

  • Guests are liable for damage caused intentionally or negligently to hotel property.
  • The Hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings unless required by Greek law.
  • Use of in-room safes is recommended.

11. Force Majeure

  • The Hotel shall not be held liable for non-performance or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, pandemics, or utility failures.

12. Group Reservations

  • Group reservations (generally 5 rooms or more) may be subject to special contractual terms.
  • Deposits, advance payments, and stricter cancellation conditions may apply.
  • Final rooming lists must be submitted within the deadlines specified by the Hotel.

13. Privacy and Personal Data Protection

  • Personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Greek data protection laws.
  • Data collected is used exclusively for reservation management, legal obligations, and service delivery.
  • Guests have the right to access, rectify, restrict, or request erasure of their personal data, subject to statutory retention requirements.

14. Complaints and Disputes

  • Any complaints should be reported to the Hotel during the stay to allow immediate resolution.
  • If no amicable solution is reached, disputes shall be resolved under Greek law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by Greek law.
  • Courts of Greece shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms.

16. Amendments

  • Anghel Hotel reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • The version applicable is the one in force at the time of reservation.
